Earlier this year Apple Opened it’s fifth retail spot in Germany on the ground floor of Dresden’s suburban. Since Germany is one of the key European markets and the leading economy in the European Union, Apple is expected to open four new retail spots before the end of the year.
According to Macerkopf.de, Apple will open four new stores this year in Germany. Hamburg should get its second store this year, Augsburg will get one and the aforementioned Berlin store is due later this year. Another store is planned to open in Sulzbach – which has the population of just 10,000 – despite the fact that Apple operates a major brick-and-mortar retail spot in Frankfurt which is 15 miles from Sulzbach.
