Foxconn, Apple main supplier of iPhone, iPod touch and iPad components is planning to replace their human workers with over than 1 million robots in three years. Samsung already have 10,000 robots working in their facilities.

A while back Steve Jobs was criticized by a U.S. senator for manufacturing the iPad in China by Foxconn and denying U.S. citizens thousands of jobs. Well the job market in China will get a huge hit since Foxconn decided to replace their 1.2 million human workers with robots.

The robots will do tasks such as spraying, wielding and assembling, So the humans who are doing these tasks now will loose their jobs. But which is more expensive, The expensive to maintain robots or salary demanding human employees?

We will see the reactions of Foxconn workers after that decision.
