Foxconn Technology Group is expected to manufacture 20 million iPad 2 in the third quarter of 2011 which shows a 60% growth rate in comparison to the amount manufactured and sold the first half of the year.The sales for the new device are expected to witness a major growth.
Digtimes reports that:
“For the third quarter, Foxconn is expected to ship 20 million units of iPad 2 to Apple, a growth of 60% sequentially, and the orders should be the major growth driver for the company in the second halfâ€.
The sales volume of tablet computers in the whole world will amount to 65.2 million sets and that of iPad series of Apple will reach 40 million sets, according to a research report made by DigiTimes.
