A couple of weeks back, the Dolphin Browser for the iPhone and the iPod Touch was introduced, which takes internet surfing to whole new dimensions with the gestures and the webzine and a lot of other features. Today Dolphin Browser is also available for iPad to enjoy these features in a much bigger pool.

The iPhone app to iPad convert comes with the “HD” suffix, and makes Dolphin’s slick UI even easier to navigate. There are yet certain features that distinguish the Dolphin Browser from other competing ones like Safari.

Aside from the stand-out gesture functionality. It features the brilliant Proper Tabs, Webzine, Speed Dial, and many more which work just as well on the iPad as it does on the iPhone. One other killer feature is the ability to set pages as non-mobile by default.

It can be of extreme annoyance to be forced into using a mobile version of a site which is often unfamiliar, less featured and not as well maintained as its desktop counterpart.

Dolphin Browser HD is available at the App Store for free.
