Finally, Apple`s new iPhone 4S hit the stores today at 8 a.m. local time in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, France, Germany and Japan.
By the end of October the new phone will arrive in 22 more countries. These include: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
As you know, Apple announced last week one million iPhone 4S units were sold on the first day of preorders, October 7th.
Interested customers have been lining up in front the retail stores in masses awaiting the launch. Some of them have been lining for weeks now to be the first to lay hands on the new handset.
