Siri still can’t drive your car yet but at least she can start it, locking and unlocking car doors now by hooking Siri to a proxy server that is connected to your car’s system. maybe in a few days later she will be able to drive it.
“The ‘Siri Proxy’ plugin I wrote handles interaction with a php script that runs on my web server.
The php script, which I developed months ago for personal use, allows me to send commands to my car which has a Viper SmartStart module installed,” the developer said.
Due to it’s very early stage in development, setting up Siri Proxy isn’t the most easy thing in the world.
