There are apps that are designed for both the iPhone and the iPad so those are executed in the infamous 2× mode on the iPad. However, apps that are created natively for the iPhone don’t work on the iPad. Well, to be clear, its not impossible to install iPhone apps on iPad, but who wants to go through the trouble of trying apps on his iPad only to realize they might not work.
Developer Ryan Petrich developed a new Cydia tweak called “Belfry“. Belfry is a tweak that will install 6 stock apps on your iPad:Clock, Calculator, Compass, Voice Memos, Stocks and Weather.
Stocks and Clock apps work in native resolution, while the rest are stuck in the infamous 2× mode.
Belfry is available on the BigBoss Repo for free.
