A pre-GM release of iOS 5.1 appeared a few days ago and it revealed Siri`s support for the Japanese language and a new camera button fixed next to the lock screen that you can quickly slide to access your phone`s camera instead of double-tapping the Home button.

A new rumor surfaced claiming that that Notes app is getting a re-modelling too. Currenlty, you can write, save and edit notes as well as email them. Accroding to iPhoneHellas, the new Notes app will do more than that. Notes will offer formatting options like bullet-point lists, links, custom font colours and underlining and more.

Some might argue that there are plenty of apps on the App Store that can provide these options and more, what`s so special about this one? Well, true App store is abundant, but it always feels better to have stock apps do it natively without having to pay money to get an added feature.

Like you heard before, iOS 5.1 is expected to roll out March 9th, hopefully with an iPad 3 announcement on March 7th.
