True, we are done speculating about iPad3 release date with Apple`s official invitations send-outs, but rumors about the internal specs and the final name of the product are still going.
Gizmodo says that Some sources claim the next-gen tablet will be called “iPad HD” and not iPad 3 and which will come along the lines of the Retina Display expected for the new tablet and which will be double the resolution of the current iPad2. The 1024×768 were HD too, but they were jaw-dropping. Double that resolution, though, definitely is.
The report cites one of the most popular iAccessory markers, Griffin, publishing a photo of part listings on Griffin`s site accessory makers and all of the parts have the name iPad HD. Fonfara reports also that Belkin, too, confirmed the name of the next-gen iPad.
Gizmodo also published a graph showing the recent web traffic for the website iDevice.ro which shows a device by the name iPad HD being on the web for some time now. We can`t take the graph for granted for the data could have been manipulated to show certain results.
Anyways, speculating is fun !!
