The famous hacker Pod2g has made a great announcement today on Twitter saying that he managed to untether jailbreak iPad 3 on iOS 5.1. This came as welcome news after Pod2g`s announcement last week that he managed to untether jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 5.1and since then we are waiting for a public release until we were taken by surprise with Apple`s release of iOS 5.1.1 since we can`t tell if Pod2g jailbreak for iOS 5.1 will also work on iOS 5.1.1.
Pod2g in today`s tweet said that he will start working on iOS 5.1.1. We are hoping the exploits he used for iOS 5.1 will work nicely with iOS 5.1.1

Hopefully Pod2g will update us soon with a public release. We will keep you posted.
