LG introduced yesterday “Quick Voice”, its addition to the world of voice assistants, and apparently ‘”Siri” competitor. The feature is rolling out to first to the LG Optimus Vu later this month, supports control of calls, SMS, contacts access, calendar, web search and more.
According to BGR, Quick Voice will have access to 11 publications and will have the ability to search the web for things like weather and stock quotes.
LG promises natural interacting voice, rather than a robotic one, meaning you’ll be able to ask for specific videos on YouTube all in one sentence, and have the app open up complete with search results shown straight away.
Can LG finally do it?
