Set Google Chrome As Default Browser On Your iPhone [Step By Step]

2 days ago, Google has released it’s Chrome for iOS with many amazing features, and then, in less than 12 hours, one of the most famous Cydia developers, Ryan Petrich has released a tweak called Browsearchooser which allow Chrome lovers to choose their default browser from the list of all browsers.

Although, there is a tweak present in Cydia Store called Browser Changer that does the same task, but it doesn’t support the latest one, Google Chrome.

The Browsearchooser is not released publicly in Cydia Store, but it can be installed from Ryan Petrich’s repo.

How to set Google Chrome as Default Browser on iPhone:


Step 1: Open Up Cydia


Step 2: Click on “Manage” and then “Sources”

Step 3: Now, Tap on “Edit” button on the upper left corner.

Step 4: Add the following URL: HTTP://RepoCydia.com

Step 5: Tap on add and wait until it will add this repo on your iPhone.

Step 6: Go to search and search for “BrowserChooser”, and then click on it and install it on your iPhone.

That’s all, Now To choose your browser, head over to settings and Scroll down to “BrowserChooser” and select Google Chrome as your default browser.
