The all-new Maps app is one of the major features in iOS 6 – Apple’s next generation mobile operating system that was unveiled last month, which includes features such as turn-by-turn voice navigation, 3D flyover-mode, real-time traffic information and more.
It looks like Apple is also working on a Maps for OS X (at least for the Intel-based Macs) based on the code references discovered in iOS 6.
