In a patent lawsuit between Apple and Samsung, posted by AllThingD, in which Samsung claims that the fruit company is stealing its design principles, Apple was forced to reveal some classified documents holding sketches and prototypes for the iPhone and iPad.
What`s in it for us? well, one of these prototypes and sketches could be what we are waiting desperately for. The folder holding the sketches included over 100 images. Redmondpie has handpicked some of the images that look unique or that look like the final design.
According to AllThingsD, some of the iPad prototypes date back to 2004 which conforms with late Steve Jobs statement in an AllThingD conference in which he said that the idea for the iPad preceded that of the iPhone.
It`s pretty interesting to see Apple prototypes and sketches, even if done unwillingly. We looking forward to the release of the next gen iPhone rumored by many sources to debut September 12th along side the iPad mini.
