We are still speculating about the next iPhone specs and just yesterday French blog NoWhereElse.fr revealed images of what seems to be a metal ring around the much smaller dock connector suggesting that Apple will be using MagSafe functionality to protect your device in case you trip over it while it is charging.Yesterday`s report didnt talk about how many pins this smaller dock connector is.
We have been seeing reports for a while now talking about an 8,9 or 19 pin dock connectors,no confirmation however.Today a new report by NoWhereElse displayed images of the new dock connector revealing 8 visible pins.
Although the photo reveals 8 pins, Apple`s iOS 6 logs display dock connectors with 9 pins. That would mean nothing is definite yet.
The new iPhone is expected to roll out September 12th alongside a new mini iPad.Until then we are expecting more reports,more leaked images and more speculations.
