iOS 6 brings with it the new Panorama feature. It works on the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, and the 5th gen iPod touch. However, there are apps that can give you the same result (and even better) and you can use them on your older iDevices.
360 Panorama:
This is one of the most popular panorama apps and it was released around 2010. You can buy it for $0.99 [From HERE] and it stiches photos together to make a GPS tagged panorama. And like the name suggests, it does offer a 360 view, and its fast, and you can look around in 360 degrees with the gyroscope feature. You can even share the 360 view on social media services or mail it to your friends. The oldest device you can used this app on is the iPhone 3GS.
Panorama 360 Camera:
This nifty app is developed by Go2Share and costs $0.99 [From HERE]. The best thing about this app is the fact that it takes panoramas with just one shot and some additional features of this app include the ability to set the lands curvature, white balance, and creates 360 degree images having a resolution of 11453 x 1280. Works on iOS 4.1 and later and on 4th generation iPods and iPhones also works on iPad 2.
PhotoSynth
This one is actually made by Microsoft and is one of the most popular apps on the Apps store. It has full sphere panoramas and also utilizes Bing maps. It’s a pretty way to use and you can look at your panoramas being made as you capture them. You can even view other panoramas on the best of Bing maps and you even have the options to save your panorama online. It shares with social media services and in addition it works with the iPhone 3GWS and above.
