Don’t you want to improve your iPhone’s Safari web browser and make it load faster than its normal speed ? I know that you hate to wait too much time waiting for the page to reload. But today I would like to tell you that waiting will gone after you use this new jailbreak tweak called SafariBlankPage.

SafariBlankPage is a new recently released jailbreak tweak developed by Suu ( The same guy who made Slide2kill tweak).

The tweak allows you to force Safari to open up to a blank page upon launch, meaning you don’t have to wait for anything to load. This allows you to quickly perform searches and open new websites…

If the premise sounds familiar, that’s because there is a non-jailbreak way to do this by creating a Home screen shortcut for the URL ‘about:blank.’ The tweak is a little more convenient though, as it works natively in Safari.

Once SafariBlankPage is installed, it takes effect—no options to configure here. And it only works upon a fresh launch. So if Safari is already open, tapping the Safari icon will open up the last page you looked at, like normal.

While I can see how this tweak could be very useful for some, I probably won’t be keeping it. I’m using Chrome as my default iOS browser right now, and since I use Velox, opening a new web page or search is just a swipe away.

So in case you need a fast browsing I recommend you to go and download SafariBlankPage for free from Cydia store via BigBoss repo…
