Many of us receive unwanted calls from some drunken strangers and when you tell them “It is a wrong number” you will find them calling you again after thirty minutes, I am not kidding, this thing happened to me a lot of times, so what should you do ? Well at Apple’s WWDC 2013, Apple introduced a new feature in iOS 7 and I liked it very much which is Call Blocking. Yep right now you will be able to block any unwanted calls from strange people….

And this feature also available for jailbreakers, there is a tweak for such feature available on Cydia… Anyway right now and if you are on iOS 7, you can go to the contact details screen via the Favorites, Recents or Contacts tab. From there, hit the ‘Block this Caller’ button at the bottom. This will block not only phone calls, but FaceTime calls and messages from that person as well.

By doing this step, you’ll block the contact and he/she will not be able to call you or send messages…
To remove a blocked contact, simply navigate to its contact card via the Phone app, scroll down to the bottom and choose ‘Unblock this Caller’. Apple hasn’t made this feature consistent as the call-blocking option is nowhere to be found when browsing contacts directly through the Contacts app.\\
This is a very great feature, but I am already using it on my jailbroken iPhone running on iOS 6.x.x.. So what about you ? Do you like this new feature or not ?
