After releasing the sixth beta for iOS 7 this morning, Apple is here again and they have just released a new update for iTunes bringing the software to version 11.0.5.. This new update brings a fix for a known iTunes in the Cloud issue, where some purchases would download or play unexpected media items.

Today’s update comes just a little more than two months after the previous iTunes update, 11.0.4, which brought about improved syncing, and just a day after iOS 7 beta 6 landed, which fixed a similar iTunes in the Cloud issue…

Here’s your release note:
“This update corrects an issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items. “

Notably, while this update appears to fix the same issue as yesterday’s surprise iOS 7 beta, it doesn’t require you to take any additional steps. Still, Apple seems to be flushing out an iTunes in the Cloud problem across the board, so we expect to see a new iTunes 11.1 beta (for developers only) shortly.

You can download it from the Mac App Store..
