Well that was fast… Just after Apple finished its media event from about an hour ago, the company has just released iOS 7 GM to developers and the download links available at Apple’s dev center… So right now developers can download it from dev center or from their devices via OTA by going to Settings—>General—>Software Update..
It should be common knowledge by now that the Gold Master version of Apple’s mobile firmware is always pretty much identical to the version of the software that will be rolled out to the public when the new iPhones start shipping.
This particular variant of iOS 7 represents Apple’s last attempt at fixing any show-stopping bugs and issues that have been reported by beta-testing developers through the Bug Reporting mechanisms. It has also given the Cupertino based company the chance to apply any final polish to the dramatically revamped interface and fine tune the new animations.
And here’s the devices compatible with iOS 7:
I am so sorry for the image quality.. Here’s the list again but this time it is written:
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 5S/5C
- iPod Touch 5G
- iPad 2
- iPad with retina display
- iPad Mini
So what do you think guys ? Have you downloaded iOS 7 GM on your iPhone ?
UPDATE: Many users couldn’t download iOS 7 GM from their devices via OTA… So it looks like you will have to manually download the IPSW or update to GM using iTunes…
We still looking for alternatives solution for this problem and we will keep you updated with anything new.. .Stay tuned.
