Everyone is waiting for September 18th to try iOS 7, Apple’s newest software for iOS devices… While we still waiting for this day, we’ve got a new web analytics that says Apple is already testing new multiple versions of future updates.

The web logs show that sites starting receiving hits from devices running everything from iOS 7.0.1 to iOS 7.1 back in August, with traffic increasing in early September. And all of the activity is coming from Cupertino…

9to5Mac, who first spotted the activity, notes that it has detected iOS 7.0.1, iOS 7.0.2 and iOS 7.1 action on its website in recent months. MacRumors echoes the findings, adding that it has also seen iOS 8 references as well.

Check out the following picture:

iOS 7.1:

Information from our analytics has previously pinpointed an uptake in testing for iOS 7.0 and OS X 10.9, but it is difficult to tell precise release information based on this data. However, the analytics do provide insight into what Apple exactly is testing, when they are conducting the testing, and how widespread testing becomes overtime.
