There are two consequences of this issue. First of all, those who are now on iOS 7 are trapped for a while, and secondly, they won’t be able to enjoy the perks of iOS 6.1.3 and iOS 6.1.4 untethered jailbreak.
Earlier, a video was published that showed Cydia running on iPhone 5 on iOS 6.1.4, which makes untethered jailbreak a promising venture.
Winocm, who released the video, didn’t given any estimated release time, but he seems far ahead than evad3ts and their progress on the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.
While Apple has stopped signing iOS 6.1.4/3 for majority of iOS device, those who own an iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPad 2 and iPad mini still have a chance to downgrade before it’s too late.
So if you’ve updated to iOS 7 and currently own one of the devices mentioned above, it is recommend that you hurry up if you want to downgrade to iOS 6.1.3. Others are out of luck at the moment and will have to wait for jailbreak iOS 7.
