Looks like Apple’s hiring spree won’t seem to end. The company has now posted an opening for an individual to work on a ‘secret project’. It’s the opening for a ‘Web UI Designer – Maps’.
The posting reveals that the team behind the company has been lucky to work on projects that aim to change the globe. The company is now working on a new project and needs help. The company wants the individual to join a small team that is working on a new web platform on which Apple’s services in the future will be based.
The front end engineer should bring a background in the field of web services development, and has already built scalable and extensible systems. The candidates will also be required to implement some of the web pages for next gen Apple products by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
The description states:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex front-end code for a new secret project
- â— Document and build unit tests for your code. Work with operations, QA, and product management to maximize product effectiveness
It is not clear at the moment of what the secret project will be, but it may be some new mapping technology as Apple has lately acquired some companies that deal in mapping technology.
