We previously reported that iOS 7.0.3 was going to be publicly released next week, and iOS 7.1 was expected along with the iPads at the end of the month.

But the best news of the day is about the iOS 7 jailbreak. If a tweet is to be believed from planetbeing, the evad3rs (the popular jailbreak team who made the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 possible) are getting near to a jailbreak for the iOS 7 update.

The tweet comes from the member of a team that also contains Pod2g, pimskeks and MuscleNerd, and it shows that the team is ‘still working hard on the jailbreak’.

While the team may have gotten few bits and pieces together at the moment as the tweet indicates, the real outcome can’t be expected anytime soon. Perhaps evad3rs would give us a holiday gift (must be bigger for us than the PS4 or Xbox One), or a New Year’s present? Who knows?

Nevertheless, despite the missing date of the public release, and it’s good to see that the team is spending (what we imagine sleepless nights) to work on making the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak possible.
