Apart from the camera upgrade, it has also been rumored that the iPad Mini 2 is going to come with an A7 chip and the touch ID that was initially made available to the public with the iPhone 5s.
However, a new video shows that the fingerprint Touch ID also fits perfectly on the front panel of the iPad 5.
The experiment was carried out in a pretty intriguing way. Unboxtherapy took their gold iPhone 5s and removed the fingerprint sensor from it and placed it on the expected front panel of the iPhone 5.
The results show that the Touch ID was a perfect fit, while an old home button failed to find its place.
The iPad 5 is expected to be released at the end of this month and is expected to run on Apple’s A7 chip, or its variation.
