The world’s first smartphone – Samsung Galaxy Round has been officially unveiled by Samsung. The handset is said to integrate new design features combined with latest smartphone screen technology. The handset features an HD Super AMOLED screen at 5.7 inches. It weights 154g and has 7.9mm thickness, so it provides a comfortable grip.

Because of the new curved design, users would be able to take advantage of the new integration termed as ‘Roll Effect’, which allows users to see the time, missed call, date and battery life when the main screen is switched off.
There’s also a Gravity Effect feature which allows for visual integrated when the device is titled by the user. Bounce UX will be present to allow for music control. And when the display of Galaxy Round is turned off when the music is on, a short right press will play the next track; while the short left press will play the previous track. A Side Mirror feature will let users tilt the handset left or right to access album content.
The large screen of the handset will provide additional benefits. The One-Hand Operation will present the unique controls close to the screen’s desired side. Furthermore, new curved Galaxy round comes with amazing multitasking capabilities, allowing users to make use of the whole screen through Multi Window feature. This allows users to open multiple apps on the same screen and sync content between different applications.
At the moment, Samsung Galaxy Round has been found in Luxury Brown in Korea, but more colors are expected. There’s no release date known in other countries or the pricing as well.
