The most anticipated event after the iPhone event that took place last month is now in progress. Tim Cook is on stage to start proceedings for the iPad event. That means all of us are only a while away from seeing the Retina iPad Mini 2, iPad 5, Mavericks and Mac Pros.
As usual, the CEO of Apple has started things by telling the usual statistics about the company (sales figures, milestones etc.).
- Some of the interesting figures he has revealed so far are:
- The iOS 7 is now installed on 64% of total iOS devices.
- More than 1 billion songs have been played on iTunes Radio.
- More than 1 million apps are now on App Store.
- More than 60 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store.
- App developers have earned more than $13 billion.
- There are more than 20 million users of iTunes Radio to this date.
