Mr. Obama Isn’t Allowed To Use An iPhone (Video)

There have been a number on occasions on which an iPad has been used to snap president of the United States, Mr. Barack Obama. He actually loves the iPad, and Steve Jobs gave him the iPad 2 before it was launched.

However, he recently gave an Obamacare speech, where he revealed to the youth at the White House Summit that the President is not allowed to keep an iPhone. Here’s a part of the speech, courtesy of ABC News:

Now, I am not allowed for security reasons to have an iPhone. I don’t know what your bills are. I’ve noticed that Sasha and Malia seem to spend a lot of time on it. My suspicion is that, for a lot of you, between your cable bill and your phone bill, you’re spending more than $100 per month.”

This announcement also sparked controversy about mobile security in the techosphere. The president is allows to use BlackBerry handset custom version.

Moreover, several US government agencies have adopted Apple’s iPhone after leaving BlackBerry. This means that Apple taking away enterprise customers from BlackBerry regardless of security.

As for the president, his use extends beyond just gadgets. He is also said to be making efforts for a new policy on unlocking.
