When Apple introduced the new iPhone 5s, everyone was surprised with the the fingerprint sensor in the device which called Touch ID.. This useful feature allows you to unlock your device using your fingerprint only, so no one could bypass your device and steal important information…

Touch ID is considered one of the most important features in iPhone 5s, of course after the great performances.. Although after hackers released Evasi0n7 untethered jailbreak, many developers started to build jailbreak tweaks to support Touch ID and make it more usable..

Today we’ve got a new report from Bloomberg Businessweek saying that Samsung is planning to launch its next generation flagship Android device, the Galaxy S5 by April with eye-scanner in order to beat iPhone 5’s Touch ID…

Lee Young Hee, Executive Vice president of Samsung’s Mobile Business sat down with Bloomberg Businessweek a few days ago and revealed some interesting details about the products that will be launched in 2014.

Here’s what she had to say about the Galaxy S5 launch:

“We’ve been announcing our first flagship model in the first half of each year, around March and April, and we are still targeting for release around that time,” Lee said. “When we release our S5 device, you can also expect a Gear successor with more advanced functions, and the bulky design will also be improved.”

She also admitted that Galaxy S4 didn’t meet customer expectations as it looked very similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S3. She hinted that the S5 will sport an all-new design, but didn’t provide any more details.

“When we moved to S4 from S3, it’s partly true that consumers couldn’t really feel much difference between the two products from the physical perspective, so the market reaction wasn’t as big,” she said. “For the S5, we will go back to the basics. Mostly, it’s about the display and the feel of the cover.”

And finally, when it comes to the Note 4, Samsung says it’s going to be targeted at people “willing to pay more for handsets”. There are no Samsung quotes to share about the Note 4′s hardware, but Bloomberg Businessweek insists that the phone will have a “three sided display” which will allow you to read your messages at an angle. Chances are that means the Note 4 will have a screen similar to the prototype pictured above that was demoed a year ago at CES.
