The official YouTube app has been limited in certain aspects on iOS especially when it comes to the design functionality. However, a new update has been made to it and now it supports the iOS 7 keyboard, bringing the app in line with the look and feel of iOS 7.
Improvements have also been made when it comes to searching for videos and during subtitles and captions. The status bar will also now follow the iOS 7 elements. Also remember that when updating to IOS 7.1, the design is going to slightly change for the keyboard.
Other than the above mentioned things, you can also use search results to discover channels and playlists at the same time. The latest version of YouTube also includes user settings for subtitles and videos as well as formatting and positioning.
