There is good news for jailbroken iPhone users and Cydia developers who love to release new themes for the iPhone… the jailbreak app Winterboard is now fully compatible with iOS 7, but what’s more important is that it is now supported on the newer devices like the iPhone 5s, and other arm64 devices like the iPad Mini with Retina Display and iPad Air.

Previously, Winterboard was working fine on older iDevices which were running the iOS 7 firmware, but there were still some stabilities and bugs that needed to be addressed. Thankfully all these problems are now history. Also, now it would be possible for jailbreak developers to release new themes for all devices without the risk of a particular theme being incompatible in the end.
At the moment, there are not many themes available for iPhone 5s and other arm64 devices, but you can expect developers to turn in new themes now that Winterboard works on 64-bit phones and iPads. Ayecon is one of the first few expected as Surenix said he was working on an updated version.
Saurik also says that the latest Winterboard version, i.e. 0.9.3912, now seems supported by 64- bit devices. But his words also indicate that there might be further work needed to fix some bugs permanently, but currently most of the work has been done and future updates will make it perfect.
Have you downloaded Winterboard on your iPhone ?
