One thing is pretty clear when it comes to the analysis of the rumor mill. 2014 is going to be a major year for Apple. Information has been circulating that this year iPad and iPhone would have a larger display. In addition to this, iWatch has been anticipated for quite some time, could be unveiled in Fall 2014.

The speculation is based on authentic source, according to which Apple has new display sizes in R&D. There are multiple resolutions which can be used for the upcoming devices.
The displays that have been indicated confirm some previous rumors about size of iDevices to be released in 2014. iWatch has been speculated to come in a couple of sizes, 1.3’’ and 1.6’. The current data seems to match this and also indicates the usage of flexible AMOLED technology.

As far as the smartphone category is concerned, there is consistency too. Previous and current speculation agrees on 2 sizes of iPhone, 5.5’’ and 5.7’’. This trend seems to agree with the larger iPhone 6 assertion.

On the third level, the iPad is also expected to be larger and 12.9 inch has been the standard speculation. iPad may indicate a strong move from Apple, since the smartphone giant is looking to develop a larger and higher performance tablet to set a gold standard in the market. The 12.9 inch iPad would have a 2732 x 2048 panel.

Despite of these assertions, it remains to be seen whether Apple would actually follow such a path. However, the interesting element is the consistency with which these rumors are piling up, indicating similar trends.
