Apple files patent for smudge resistant oleophobic coating for sapphire glass displays

In what appears to be further proof of Apple is planning to use a sapphire glass display in future iPhones, a new patent filing from the company has revealed that it’s looking to add an oleophobic coating to the display to make it immune to smudges involved with standard displays.
