Today we are going to review a newly released jailbreak tweak called Cylinder this tweak is a Barrel-inspired jailbreak tweak which brings more great animations effects to the icons on your iPhone. The best part is that the tweak is available for free unlike Barrel which costs about $2.
Among the features Cylinder offers is the ability to create your own animations via special Lua scripts, and combine multiple animations by layering them on top of one another. Cylinder is a tweak that’s much deeper than it might seem on the surface.

Once installing Cylinder on your iPhone, go to the tweak’s settings preference where you will find a kill switch, a randomization toggle, and two sections for effects and formulas.
Effects section contain a lot of icon animations like: Snake, Curl and roll away, Cube inside, Vortex and more great effects.
But the real interesting thing this time around is the ability to not only layer different effects on top of each other, but to remember those layers by means of custom formulas. Formulas are basically a fancy way of saying that Cylinder will remember specific effect combinations and their order of selection.
