Have you been searching for a better way to organize your iPhone’s lock screen notifications? Then you can try Priority Hub for iOS 7. This is a new BlackBerry 10 inspired jailbreak tweak that allows you to group Lock screen notifications by app, allowing you to easily see notifications for a single app at a time. It is a great way to un-clutter the lock screen and make it easier to read.
After you install Priority Hub, you’ll find a new preference panel in the stock Settings app. The preferences section shows two options 1) show numbers 2) icon location. The first option allows you to display a tally of all of notifications for each application on the lock screen. The second option allows you to move the app icons related to notifications at the bottom or two the top of the lock screen.
Though the tweak is pretty simple, it makes lock screen notifications quite easy to manage, especially when you receive a lot of them. And for each app with a notification, you see an app icon in the lock screen, and every notification for that app can be accessed through this icon.
You can also switch or hide between notifications by tapping on an app icon. It’s also possible to dismiss all notifications pertaining to an app using a pull down gesture.
Priority Hub is available in the BigBoss repository for $0.99, you can grab it from the Cydia Store. The tweak has so much functionality that it is certainly worth at least a dollar, but Thomas Finch, the developer, has made it available free of charge. What do you think?
