Keep all of that in mind; a concept maker has released an iPhone Air concept. Apart from making a stunning visual, the designer has also listed some intriguing specs.
The concept has been made by Sam Beckett, and unlike renders that have gone out of the way, the iPhone Air concept ties in nicely with the reports. It features a 4.7-inch edge-to-edge display, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 on a full HD panel – within the Retina confines at 468 pixels per inch.
Although an iPhone boasting an HD display as yet to be seen, 1080 on a 4-inch screen would be considered as overkill. However, as the device gets big, Apple will be increasing the level of pixel to retain sharpness that iPhone users have become used to.
The iPhone Air, with 7 mm depth, is 9% thinner than iPhone 5s, and this slight thinning serves as a nice bonus. The concept also includes a 10 megapixel camera with a f/1.8 aperture. There have been few suggestions that the upcoming iPhone could borrow design traits from the iPad Air.
What do you think about this concept?
