This year is slightly different, though, and that’s because Apple is also rumored to be launching a “phablet†of their own in the 5.5-inch iPhone 6/Air. Indeed, some early specifications have leaked out regarding the Galaxy Note 4, and that includes a Super AMOLED QHD display that measures in at 5.7-inches, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor in at least one variants of the handset. There’s also rumored to be a 16-megapixel camera on the back with optical image stabilization, 3GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor (as seen on the Galaxy S5), and a UV sensor for good measure.
According to a new report from the folks at AndroidBeat, Samsung today has just started sending out invites for its UNPACKED event which is going to be held at IFA in Berlin, Germany next month. The event is scheduled to start on September 3rd at 2PM local time where Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 — its flagship for the second half of the year.
A lot rides on the shoulders of the Galaxy Note 4, especially with the sales of Samsung’s Galaxy devices slowing down and its profit plummeting.
As usual, this September is shaping up to be a memorable month. Are you looking forward to see what Samsung unveils with the Galaxy Note 4?
