How To Change your Mac’s Computer Name

Sometimes when I am using my Mac via AirDrop or else, I recognised that my Mac doesn’t have a name and it was hard to know which one is my Mac, it would just show up saying “Unknown.”. If you are like me and wish to know how to quickly change your Mac’s computer name, all what you have to do is following these easy steps below.

STEP 1: From menu bar go to ï£¿ > System Preferences…

STEP 2: System preferences panel will appear, click on “Sharing”.

STEP 3: In the Computer Name box, type in the name you want to use for your computer.

STEP 4: Close the window, and you’re done.
