Ex-GT product manager seems to confirm sapphire glass coming to Apple mobile devices

On August 12, it was reported that the GT Advanced Technologies production plant in Arizona had transitioned to volume production, hinting that whatever Apple was manufacturing that incorporated sapphire glass was being put together, piece-by-piece. Unfortunately, what that might actually be for is still up in the air.
