Attention everyone, the great challenge is here and this time it is between the newly released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.. Although both devices officially went on sale for a few countries, this doesn’t mean it hasn’t been long enough to already see the devices put through some stress tests.
A user from YouTube called PhoneBuff has already decided to put the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in a series of drop tests, for the sole purpose of discovering just how long they’ll last. As you can imagine, despite the new construction of each handset, the end is always the same: busted displays and scratches galore. If you plan on picking up an iPhone 6 instead of an iPhone 6 Plus, though, you may be happy to know the smaller variant lasted just a bit longer than the larger model.
You will notice in the below video that iPhone 6 Plus’s display shatters when it’s dropped on its side, while the iPhone 6 survives a bit longer until the inexorable test of dropping on its display.
