Gold iPhone 6 units selling for upwards of $3,600 on Chinese black market

While the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now available in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and a number of other countries as of this weekend, the smartphones have yet to make their debut in China due to regulatory approval delays. The result is a lucrative black market in which gold iPhone 6 units are selling for as much as $3,600 in the world’s most populous country.
