Many reports of bending iPhones started to rise claiming that many iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus devices are bendable in the pockets. It is a big and serious problem that Apple must look after it. So right now it looks like we’ve been subjected to new “bend tests.”

Earlier today a new video published by Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy puts the smaller iPhone 6 variant under the camera’s lens, and tries to determine just how malleable the device is — especially as it compares to the larger iPhone 6 Plus and other smartphones available on the market. Hilsenteger previously published a “bend test” with the iPhone 6 Plus on Tuesday, September 23, and found that with a considerable amount of force, the iPhone 6 Plus does indeed bend near the volume rockers.

In the same test, though, Hilsenteger was not able to make the iPhone 6 bend in the same way the larger variant did, despite the same tests put forth. As a result, he stated that the iPhone 6 is “far more durable” than the iPhone 6 Plus.

After many bending tests, he concluded that iPhone 6 users will not face bending in their devices unlike iPhone 6+ users..

It should also be noted that it would seem unlikely that the same amount of force would be exerted on an iPhone 6 — or iPhone 6 Plus — just by being in someone’s pocket. However, there is no denying that many people are raising their hands when asked about their bigger iPhones bending.
