It has been a long time since we’ve heard about any issue in the App Store.. Early today a new report saying that some users were not able to access the App Store on their Mac or iOS-based system. Moreover, some users are reporting receiving error messages like the one pictured above. Some users have also complained that their downloads have stalled out indefinitely, or flat-out failed when attempted repeatedly.
9to5mac reporting that the issues began hitting some users at 6:30 AM P.S.T., but as of the time of this writing Apple has not updated their system status update page, which is still showing green across the board. Through this own publication’s testing, apps seem to be downloading just fine on iOS 8.0.2 on an iPhone 6 Plus, and a MacBook Air running the latest version of OS X 10.9.5. However, as noted in the report, it is not an issue that is segregated to one type of operating system, whether it’s on mobile or desktop.
