Everyone is waiting for Apple’s iPad event on October 16 where it is expected that the company will unveil its second generation iPad Air alongside new iMac and announce the public release date of OS X Yosemite. Earlier today we’ve got a new report suggesting that one new, rumored device won’t be in attendance.

A new report published on Monday, October 13, by Re/code, a Retina MacBook Air will not be a device that’s part of the announcement lineup on October 16 (which will be live streamed), when Apple takes the stage to announce new products during their upcoming event, based on sources familiar with Apple’s plans.

As I said above, it is expected to see iPad Air 2, retina iPad Mini alongside new iMacs and finally the public release date of OS X Yosemite.
