Earlier today, Pangu team released their popular tool to support and jailbreak iOS 8-iOS 8.1 devices, surprising everyone. The current version only support Window, by the time, many people started receiving some issues while making the jailbreak process. The team has now released an updated version of the Pangu 8 jailbreak tool which solves this bug.
The new version said to fix photos being lost. For those who don’t know, pangu jailbreak for iOS 8 supports the following devices;
- iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3 and iPad 2
- iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, 1st gen iPad mini
- 5th generation iPod touch

The team says that the jailbreak, which provides SSH access, is primarily meant for developers to add iOS 8 support to their apps and tweaks. There’s no Cydia yet, but the team has contacted saurik who will be updated Cydia for iOS 8 soon. There’s no English version of the tool yet, but should be out in a few days. A Mac version is coming, but “not in the near future.â€
