OS X Yosemite users still reporting performance issues after updating to 10.10.1

Beside releasing iOS 8.1.1, Apple today also pushed OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 to the public. Among other improvements, the changelog mentioned improved Wi-Fi reliability, which should have hopefully fixed the Wi-Fi connection issues that many MacBook users started reporting after upgrading to Yosemite.
