World AIDS day is here (December 1) and in order to increase the awareness about AIDS, Apple will change the color of its iconic logo in retail stores to red. The company had done something similar last year on World AIDS day.

Starting from December 1st, all Apple’s stores across the globe will make this change, with the changes already being live in Australia, Hong Kong and other regions of the world where it is already December 1st.

Apple has played a major part in creating awareness against AIDS on a global scale. The company is a member of the Project (RED), where it has raised more than $75 million since 2006 through sale of (RED) branded products. It was only last week that Apple had revealed its special (RED) branded gift cards, which were on sale in the United States only during the Black Friday. It was also bundling these gift cards on purchase of selected Apple devices, including the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
