Apple’s latest patent turns the iPad or iPhone into a remote display

The USPTO office has granted Apple a patent for “Displaying a synchronized instance of content on a portable electronic device,” potentially allowing iOS device owners to view a video stream on their device that is synchronized to a ‘Fixed Display Device’ like their iMac or Apple TV.
