So after the huge launch of both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, here comes the iPhone 6s mini.. Analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company suggests in his note issued to investors that Apple could release a smaller 4-inch iPhone next year.
In his note, he states that it is “possible†for Apple to launch three new iPhones next year with the “iPhone 6s mini†being the surprise package with a 4-inch screen. Arcuri sources suggest that this smaller iPhone will sport the same specs as the iPhone 5s, but will sport a new design and curved screen edges as seen on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
He also suggests that Apple might possibly use “purpose-built low cost components†from Qualcomm to keep the price of the handset down. Apple probably intends to replace the iPhone 5c, which currently caters to its ‘low-end’ market, with the “iPhone 6s mini.â€
