Apple has seeded the fourth beta of iOS 8.3 to developers, close to two weeks after seeding the third iOS 8.3 beta and roughly a month and a half after releasing the first iOS 8.3 beta.

Apple had released the first beta version of iOS 8.3 on February 9th, the second beta was released on February 23rd and the third beta on March 12th.

iOS 8.3 beta 1, beta 2 and beta 3 have revealed that it will include a number of new features and improvements such as new UI for Emoji keyboard with some new icons, Google two-factor authentication support, Wireless CarPlay, new Conversation List Filtering option and more.

iOS 8.3 beta 4 is compatible with the following iOS devices:

  • iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iPad 2, iPad (third-generation), iPad (fourth-generation), iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display
  • iPod touch 5G

Jailbreakers should avoid upgrading to iOS 8.3 beta as you will not only end up losing the jailbreak, but you will also won’t be able to jailbreak your device.

Here’s what’s new (updating…):

  • Apple has removed the beta label from iCloud Photo Library. It was previously removed, and then brought back.
  • Wireless CarPlay support removed.
  • Message filtering now says unknown senders instead of filtered.
